Job Description Summary
(what is the purpose of this position)
Manage China sales accounts with strong emphasis on customer service, pricing control and the growth of market share. The incumbent will have overall responsibility for developing business and increasing profitability for the company while strictly adhering to the Anderson core values of Relationships, Operational Expertise, and Reputation. This position will require residency in China, extensive travel throughout China and may extend to other Far Eastern countries, native level command of Chinese, and the ability to read and write in English
Job Functions
(what are the important functions/duties of this position)
1. Set a clear mission for the sales and marketing function within China and deploy strategies focused towards completing that mission.
2. Manages established key accounts.
3. Produces action plans related to established sales goals to ensure objectives are achieved.
4. Call on established, and potential new customers, both directly and indirectly through dealer network.
5. Provide education on the Anderson Brand Promise and the full range of products through direct contact to include industry trade shows, customer initiated events, and overall promotion of the Anderson brand.
6. Maintain accurate records and document customer service actions/discussion. Provide reports as directed.
7. Stay abreast of market, sales, and competitive intelligence data with the designed goal to increase sales and resulting market share.
8. Be a quick study of industry developments and apply best practices for continuous improvement.
9. Maintain an orderly and timely workflow according to assigned priorities.
10. Network with staff from other departments to insure smooth operations and the priority of customer satisfaction.
11. Attends and participates in team, division and company meetings or sales dinners including extensive travel within China and possibly to other countries as directed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Other Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
· University level degree in International Business, Agricultural Business, or a related field
· 5 – 7 years proven experience as a Country Manager to a U.S. based organization.
· Native Chinese speaker with strong written and verbal skills in English.
· Working knowledge of forage products.
· Directly related experience in an agricultural based business growing sales and providing customer service support.
· Proven knowledge and experience in current management methods and techniques.
· Strong client-facing and communication skills with a proven customer service orientation.
· Strong computer skills
· Ability and availability to travel 75% of the time.
· Excellent negotiation skills

· Working knowledge of import rules and regulations surrounding agricultural products.
